Ademski Pavirotti

A painter from Paris…Adem has been a close friend of mine for many years. He even saved my life at one time (which im very grateful for). Adem was the first person to paint and capture a red paintings show in color. Back when the band sprouted for the first time in Geelong. Back then we used butchers paper or cardboard from the local supermarket or dumpsters to paint on because we couldn’t afford canvas. For me those paintings were most important such a different energy was captured in those early paintings. I remember one amazing painting that Adem created at our very first show in Melbourne at the arthouse. It is one of my favorites that have been lost over the last few years It showed sky scrapers of the city and silhouette's of the band and the colors were incredible, bummer we lost that one i think it disintegrated. It was a hint of what was to come for us. I always believed it was a painting of our future. Adem still paints for us occasionally usually at shows in Victoria always such a colorful person with so much energy if his not wrapping himself in plastic you’ll find him throwing paint or tipping vodka on a canvas or scrabble pieces or what ever he feels that is right at the time will become part of his works he has no fear. I recall a festival we played in Geelong were Adem rounded up children and had them paint on a huge piece of cardboard and on the road their faces and anything they felt like putting in there, in the end it said it large bold letters “No War” was a beautiful moment indeed. That huge painting now sits in our practice pad. Such an honest free spirit this boy and I always miss him dearly he is a great friend, artist and song writer. Below are just some of the many art works he has created at our shows. Enjoy - Trash X
